We have been learning all about festivals from around the world in school this week.  We have taken part in lots of exciting activities to make it memorable.  We made diva lamps out of clay to celebrate the Hindu festival of light.  We have made delicious coconut squares to celebrate too!  We made poppies for Remembrance Day and did menhdi artwork just like the henna patterns painted during festivals like Eid and Diwali.  Rev. Christine and Rev. Elsa came to talk to us about the Christian festivals of Christmas and Easter.  It has been a great week!
