Safeguarding

At Dallimore we take child protection issues very seriously. All staff are kept up to date with their safeguarding training and we have three members of staff who have been trained as safeguarding lead officers.

When we have a concern about a child we will, if appropriate, contact parents/ carers to discuss these concerns. This does not mean that we are accusing parents/ carers of harming their children but simply carrying out our moral and statutory duties to ensure all children are safe and happy.

Below you will find the school’s latest child protection policy plus additional information regarding our procedures for dealing with concerns.

You will also find the link to the Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Board website where you can find further information and documents. Additional documents and policies relating to child protection procedures can be found within our ‘POLICIES’ section of the website.
