Blended Learning for all

If we have had to send home a class (or bubble) and all children and staff are at home due to someone in the bubble having had a positive test then their learning will be BLENDED LEARNING.

Even though your child cannot attend school, we want to make sure that they can keep learning, even at home.

Before your child begins learning from home, we will make sure that they are able to access all of the resources and the equipment that they need to do this. If you are worried that your child will not be able to access remote learning, speak to the class teacher as soon as possible.

It will be important that, to enable your child to join in with the daily class chat, they have access to Microsoft Teams. Your child has a school email address and you will need this, along with their password to be able to access this through Office 365.

The link below will take you to a parents/ carers guide to using Microsoft Teams.

Parents/ carers guide to TEAMS

We would like to give your child a structured learning experience whilst taking into consideration the time constraints that some parents may have. An example of your child’s day is shown below:

Links to websites that you may be directed to, and additional resources, can be found on the REMOTE LEARNING page by clicking the ROBOT below.

REMOTE LEARNING

Your child’s teacher will let you know on a daily basis which websites will help with each activity. They will also send information and activities through Class Dojo.

We do not expect anyone to print out their own resources and activities. However, you are welcome to do this in addition to the ones provided by your teacher.
