Mrs Wibberley is the teacher in Dragonflies and is supported by Mrs Cooper-Litton
Children can start in Dragonflies in the term after they are 3 years old and will be allocated either a morning or afternoon place (15 hours per week). We will always try and work with parents to allocate sessions to fit in with personal circumstances and, in addition we are able to offer a limited number of full day sessions (30 hours per week). Applications for places is made directly through the school office.
BUMBLEBEES AND BUTTERFLIES (Reception for children aged 4 to 5)
Applications for places in reception is made through Derbyshire County Council and the allocation of places is made by the local authority.
Butterflies is located in the Foundation Unit.
Miss Trenery is the teacher in Butterflies and is supported by Mrs Barker and Mrs Dunne.
Bumblebees is located in the main school building.
Miss Langton is the teacher in Bumblebees and is supported by Mrs Moore and Mrs Straw.
We aim to support our children emotionally, socially and academically to achieve the very best that they can.
We are very lucky to have a large outdoor area which provides opportunities for large scale play and for exploring nature. The children also regularly visit the forest for Forest School activities.
Visitors to the unit are always welcome and potential parents are invited to arrange to see us the classrooms and meet with Miss Trenery.
